Title: Project Mobilise

Project Mobilise is about:- * Enabling teachers to use and teach through mobile communication technologies. * Learning creatively with mobile phones and other portable media devices. Project Mobilise was developed from the observation that whilst most kids come to school in New Zealand with powerful mobile communication devices in their pockets; teachers are not leveraging them to facilitate learning. Teachers it seems are feeling disempowered by new technologies and fearful that their students know more than they do and that they will lose control if mobile phones are allowed in schools. Project Mobilise sets out to change this by supporting teachers to be able to use and teach creatively through mobile communication technologies, to love what they are doing and deliver great learning opportunities for our kids that inspire and engage. ...
